NAMM 2020: Vox launch the new Cambridge 50 modelling amp

By simultaneously utilising a NuTube in the preamp stage and Virtual Element Technology (VET) to faithfully emulate the classics, the 1×12″ Cambridge combo lets you flick between a whopping 11 amp models and eight effects without any compromise on quality of tone. With a range of Vox, Fender, Marshall and Mesa themed amp models and all your classic modulation and time-based effect combinations, the Cambridge 50 looks incredibly easy to use, and certainly sells itself as a viable solution for any post-Christmas cash-strapped shred lord.

Elsewhere, the Vox Cambridge 50 features an AUX input, an inbuilt tuner, a headphone output with cabinet simulation and a USB interface for direct recording, as well as the ability to save and recall amp presets. It even boasts a Celestion VX12 speaker – you can’t beat that for value! Check out how it sounds below.
