Harmony Guitars return with three new models

The brand, which is now owned by BandLab Technologies – the same company who acquired NME and Uncut magazines back in May – have shifted their production lines back to the United States in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where they’ll be churning out their new range of retro guitars with the modern player in mind. The company have also promised a range of vintage reissues, which we’re expecting to hear more about soon.

Inspired by the Harmony Bobkat guitar of the ’60s (an old favourite of St. Vincent) the Harmony Silhouette features a cool offset design, with a C-profile 25″ maple neck and 12″ radius ebony fretboard. Loaded with a set of Gold Foil mini humbuckers with orange drop capacitors, the Silhouette also features a retro style three barrel bridge, and is finished in nitro lacquer for a tasteful vintage aesthetic.

For something that’s bound to spin a few heads, the Harmony Rebel presents a near full mahogany construction with a double cut body. Specs-wise, it’s pretty similar to the Silhouette, with Gold Foil mini humbuckers, a 25″ scale and three barrel vintage bridge. Suss it out below.

Harmony have also reintroduced the Jupiter, a model which bears semblance to their old Stratotone Jupiter model from yesteryear. This one’s basically like a lightweight Les Paul, and features the exact same specs as the Silhouette.
