GUILD USA OPENS NEW FACTORY

Guild Main.jpg

When Fender bought the brand in 1995 it seemed that this may usher in a new era for the Connecticut based company, however production was ceased when they decided to sell Guild in 2014. Fortunately, the brand was then bought by classical guitar makers Cordoba, who moved production to Oxnard, California.

Now Guild have now declared themselves reopened for business in their new Californian factory, under the guidance of Master Builder Ron Ferguson, who previously worked with Fender and the Gibson Montana Acoustic Custom Shop.

This is an exciting time for Guild, with the company already making new versions of their classic M20 acoustics, as well as the new D20 solid flatback, which is an update on their D25 model.

Watch the video below for an insight into the new factory and some of the products that Guild are working on now.
