GUILD REVISIT A CLASSIC DESIGN WITH THE T-BIRD ST P90

Guild TBird Main.jpg

Originally produced by the company between 1964-68, these striking looking guitars came back into vogue in recent times, thanks in part to being used by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach. The S-200 was reissued last year and this new model is based specifically on that reissue, with the same curved asymmetrical body shape, but a simplified feature set.

As hinted at in the name, the guitar features dual Guild Franz P90 pickups to deliver the crisp, single-coil sound with plenty of mid-range of the original T-Bird. The model has a vintage ‘C’ shape set mahogany neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, and a stopbar tailpiece for added stability.

The T-Bird ST P90 also features open gear vintage tuning machines, the S-200’s asymmetrical headstock design and an eye-catching Pelham Blue finish.
