Grez unveil guitar made from 1,000 year old reclaimed redwood

The timber was reclaimed from a recently decommissioned bridge from the 1920s, which Grez state was constructed from first growth redwood trees that date back 1,000 years. Grez have now turned the historic wood into a one-piece redwood solid body, and it looks like an absolute treat.

The Smugglers Bridge Folsom also features a Honduran mahogany neck with a Macassar ebony fretboard, while all other specs can be custom selected. Grez are offering the model with a range of pickup and hardware options, including a Bigsby tremolo and Mastery bridge, a stainless steel tailpiece or a string-thru Tele-style bridge, while the pickguard is cut for TV Jones Universal Mount pickups with three options on offer.
