Weighing 6.8 grams an earbud, the IP54-rated ACCENTUM Clip pairs natural ambient awareness with a 12mm driver tuned for punchy bass.
Sennheiser’s first clip-on earbuds arrive as the ACCENTUM Clip, an open-ear design that hooks over the ear rather than plugging into it, built for listeners who want to listen to music without shutting out the world.
The open-ear category is saturated, but much of it trades sound quality for the freedom of staying aware of your surroundings. Sennheiser’s pitch is that after decades of tuning open headphones, there’s no compromise here.
With a 12mm dynamic driver tuned for punchy bass and smooth treble, the ACCENTUM Clip has the sound covered. A Dynamic EQ then adjusts the tonal balance as you change the volume, lifting the low end when you turn things down and easing off as the level climbs to keep distortion in check.

Everyday sound will come through naturally, with no seal and no electronic pass-through mode. That suits commuting, gym sessions or a call you only need half an ear on. The buds are Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified, with LDAC on hand for higher-bitrate streaming from a compatible phone, while SBC and AAC cover everything else. The Smart Control Plus app adds a 5-band EQ and shareable presets if you want to tune the sound further.
At 6.8g each, they weigh next to nothing, held by a flexible silicone bridge that Sennheiser says settles into the sweet spot on most ears. An IP54 rating handles dust and sweat, and textured touch controls keep volume, calls and playlists within reach. Each earbud has a dual-microphone array with AI noise reduction to lift your voice out of background noise on calls.

Battery life runs to nine hours on a charge, with the case taking the total to 36, and a 10-minute top-up over USB-C returns roughly two hours of playback. Bluetooth 6.0 handles pairing, multipoint and use of either bud on its own.
The ACCENTUM Clip is out now in Black and Cream through Sennheiser’s Australian site and Harvey Norman, with wider retail from 1 October and an Ice Blue finish following later that month.
