Fender unveils limited edition Tele Thinline Super Deluxe

The limited edition model sees Fender offer guitarists the best of both worlds, presenting an instrument that is both raw and refined, with roots in tradition highlighted by a touch of modern flair.

It features a semi-hollow alder Tele Thinline body, with a ‘70s silver sparkle pickguard to catch your eye against a striking orange lacquer finish. The Tele Thinline also boasts an American Professional “Deep-C”-shaped neck, a 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard, dual TV Jones Classic humbucking pickups, and an American Professional Tele Deluxe hardtail bridge.

Fender enlisted Butch Walker for an exclusive demo with a twist—Walker was blindfolded. Watch below as he attempts to guess what guitar he’s playing before removing the blindfold and sharing his thoughts on the Tele Thinline, which he describes as “a fun little machine.”

Fender has certainly redefined a classic with the newest Parallel Universe model. As the esteemed company puts it, the Tele Thinline is “making old-school cool look new all over again.”
