Available in 12, 16, 22 and 32-channel sizes, the next-gen Signature mixers pack Ghost preamps, dbx compression and built-in Lexicon effects into every model.
Soundcraft has reworked its Signature mixers into the Signature Plus Series, a run of analogue desks in 12, 16, 22 and 32-channel sizes that double as a USB audio interface for a laptop or phone. Pitched at studio engineers, live sound, podcasters and content creators, every model carries the same feature set, no matter the size.
The layout keeps the input and output sections separate, with colour-coded buttons and tactile “squircle” knobs that stay easy to find in low light. Ghost mic preamps run the front end, handling gain with smooth overload and a touch of harmonic warmth, while Sapphyre EQ shapes the tone and dbx one-knob compressors keep levels in check without much fiddling, backed by harmonic enhancement and insert points for more control. Lexicon, one of the big names in studio effects, is built in as a hardware processor rather than software. That, Soundcraft reckons, makes Signature Plus the only console in its class with one on board, and preset storing and tap tempo now let you set effect times by ear.

Recording and playback run straight off the desk through a 4×4 USB-C interface at 192kHz, whether you’re plugged into a computer or a phone. USB returns can feed a channel strip or take over the main mix, handy for break music or a DJ set between acts. When it comes to monitoring, you’ll get a dedicated Listen bus, so engineers can check a channel without touching the main mix. Talkback To routing sends the mic where it’s needed, and SSM metering gives quick visual feedback across every input and output. Mute, dim and mono sum sit on the headphone and control room outs. Every model is built to take a knock, with a QR code on the surface linking to manuals and training videos, and rack-mount ears on the 12 and 16-channel versions.
