The Portland based company have christened the medium-large diaphragm condenser Nadine after Nadine Landry, bassist of the Foghorn String Band, a personal friend of the company’s founder Philip Graham.

Created with live musicians in mind, the frequency response is tailored to highlight the rich low end of the upright bass whilst not compromising on clarity. With the microphone physically separated from the body, the Nadine is designed to so that it can be easily attached between the bass strings, picking up as much of the instrument’s acoustic surface sound as possible. The two parts are connect with a 14-inch Mogami cable, ensuring a high quality transference of sound.
