Innocent Lives Foundation is a US-based charity dedicated to unmasking online child predators and aid law enforcement in bringing them to justice. Fallon has been a board member of the charity since 2017, and is now doing his bit to help raise awareness and funds for the worthy cause.
In a statement accompanying news of the auction, the Clutch singer said “No one wants to hear, let alone talk, about the topic of child abuse. We can choose to look away, but the victims don’t have that option. I realised that if I am in a position to help, how could I not? Putting together this auction is an easy thing to do for kids that need our help so desperately.”
The auction lot includes a whole bunch of signed guitars from No Doubt, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Zakk Wylde and Fallon’s own Clutch, as well as signed posters from the Foo Fighters and Black Label Society. There’s also a limited edition black and white photo print of Chris Cornell, taken by Andrew Stuart and approved by the Cornell estate.
