Hynes, whose Freetown Sound album appeared frequently on many publication’s end of year lists, is clearly not one to rest on his laurels, and has just released the first single from his upcoming project as VeilHymn. The new group is a collaboration with Bryndon Cook, who besides having toured with Hynes as a guitarist releases his own music as Starchild & the New Romantic.
Not much is known about the project at this stage, as their website merely reads ‘VeilHymn is a musical collaboration between Dev Hynes and Bryndon Cook. Video coming soon.’ But thankfully we have the first single ‘Hymn’, which you can stream below.
