Here’s how you can watch a livestream of Smashing Pumpkins’ Seattle show

The recently reunited OG Pumpkins – minus bassist D’Arcy Wretzky – have been busy announcing two new EPs and returning to the stage together for the first time in almost two decades on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. (They’ve also taken part in a lot of “he said, she said” in regards to their missing bassist, but we’ll stick to the matter at hand rather than get bogged down in that controversy).

Speaking to Guitar World about the reunion, guitarist James Iha noted that it “wasn’t a disaster.”

“Not that I expected it to be – I didn’t,” he said. “Actually, what was interesting was how easy things felt. It was a little like muscle memory – you kind of play parts without even realising it. You know, they’re great tunes. A lot of them are classics. It was cool to get back in and play them again.”

Since then, they’ve taken to the road to perform a bunch of shows across the US, which Live Nation is kindly set to livestream for those of us looking on jealously from the land Down Under.

In the meantime, why not learn how to play Billy Corgan’s signature chord?
