Sales and Merchandise Assistant – Universal Music Group (Sydney)

Universal Music Australia Bravado team is looking to appoint aSales and Merchandise Assistant (12 months contract) to join the family to assist the sales team with key account communications and tracking and reporting on all inventory shipments.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Must hold a degree or equivalent qualifications in Fashion Design
  • Good technical understanding of Garment construction
  • You have qualifications in being great and 2 years of experience in fashion/retail.
  • You have an understanding of fashion, garment and production processes and experience in fashion retail/wholesale environment.
  • You have an impeccable eye for detail and outstanding organisation. Some may say you have OCD tendencies…
  • You thrive off pressure and deadlines.
  • You have proven customer service skills and will go above and beyond for internal and external contacts.

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist Sales team with daily comms/enquires
  • Sales orders data upload into Salesforce to assist with report/dashboard creation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, internal and external stakeholders. Leverage relationships to drive campaigns and revenue opportunities.
  • Manage Bravado showroom and gifting programs.
  • Provide administrative assistance and support to the team.
  • Supporting the creative team with providing asset sources for approval purposes
  • Creating and managing style packs for confirmed orders and filing folders by Retailer
  • Creating and managing sold story boards by retailer for sales team/ monitoring assets to ensure no cross over
  • Receipting, reviewing with team and submitting strike offs, lab dips, fit samples and all items for approval to customers
  • Liaising directly with customer buyer’s assistants for approval comments and production status
  • Relaying approval comments to vendors

Tech Support Specialist – Roland Corporation (Sydney)

For nearly 50 years, Roland has produced innovative musical instruments that have inspired countless musicians. Roland and BOSS gear can be seen in studios and on stages all around the world and heard on countless best-selling songs. The purpose of this role is to provide diligent and courteous support to all customers of Roland Australia, including dealers (retailers), end-users, artists and institutions.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • A strong understanding (and a passion for) electronic musical instruments and their applications.
  • You’re a complete “gear nut” and have a sound understanding of audio/musical equipment principles.
  • Like speaking with other humans; critical to the role are a positive outlook and affable personality.
  • Healthy degree of patience towards those that aren’t as knowledgeable about Musical Equipment as you are.
  • Be a problem solver. When people come to you with a product problem.
  • Take a logical approach towards combining your own knowledge with internal information sources (product manuals, other staff’s knowledge, service bulletins etc.) in order to formulate a solution and then effectively communicate that solution to the customer.

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Be to be a super helpful person (whether by phone or email) to our dealer stores, assisting them with all things Roland/BOSS/V-Moda.
  • Processing their Purchase Orders quickly and accurately from inception to delivery
  • Providing accurate information about product specifications, pricing and availability.
  • Responding to and resolving their issues in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for providing technical support to dealers and end-users alike when they are having trouble with their Roland/BOSS/V-Moda products.
  • Operate as a “right hand person” for our external Sales team, assisting them by providing timely and accurate information as required via phone and email when they are out on the road.
  • From time to time, you may be called on to assist with external shows, clinics, workshops and events.

Digital Account & Streaming Manager – Ingrooves (Sydney)

The position of Digital Account & Streaming Manager Manager, Commercial Strategy is responsible for driving Ingrooves’ growth strategy with key commercial partners in Australia and New Zealand.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Significant relationship management experience, preferably in the music industry
  • Pre-existing contacts to local services/ DSPs, and the independent label and artist community preferred
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of digital entertainment marketplace, industry trends, competitive landscape, differences among markets
  • Experience sourcing, interpreting and presenting industry insights and analytics in the sales process
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a project deadline environment
  • Knowledge of digital distribution process and managing lead-times

Tasks / Responsibilities Include:

  • Own, build and manage the day-to-day relationships with existing and future key digital services in AUNZ
  • Partner with label managers to develop strategies for local and international key labels and projects to increase revenue from frontline and catalogue content
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on commercial and promotional activity within the market
  • Use insights and analytics from varied sources to discover and present opportunities to increase revenue, work cross-departmentally to action priorities from outside home markets
  • Liaise with Ingrooves’ Marketing & Engagement team to develop local marketing partnerships and social media relationships
  • Represent AUNZ in the international commercial strategy team, evaluate and support global workflow optimization

Experienced iOS Developer (Music Industry) – Tuned Global (Melbourne)

Skills / Experience Required:

  • A great understanding of iOS and Xcode
  • Solid experience with Objective-C
