Mackie unveil battery powered portable loudspeaker Thump GO

Mackie’s new Thump Go loudspeaker allows you to play music in any location, courtesy of its rechargeable battery and lightweight build. The unit is sure to be a hit with buskers and mobile party starters with its Bluetooth capabilities, speaker modes and audio processing options.

Thump GO utilises an 8″ high-output woofer and a 1″ compression driver, both powered by a 200W Class-D amplifier. On the back face of the loudspeaker, there’s a two channel mixer with combo jack ins and an XLR thru output. There’s four different voicing modes, to tune your speaker with the press of a button alongside outdoor mode, music ducking and feedback elimination settings.

Bluetooth can be used to stream audio to the Thump Go in addition to connecting two speakers together for completely wireless stereo sound. With the lithium-ion battery, the speaker can last for up to 12 hours on battery with spare batteries available for purchase and easy substitutions.

Utilising the Thump Connect 2 app, you can access all the controls on the speaker remotely, including volume adjustment, speaker mode and speaker linking. No more bending down to change your vocal level.

The physical design of the Thump GO is professional, featuring a 45-degree monitor angle and standard size pole mount, ready to use in any application, be that at home or performing on the street or at a venue, as a main speaker or monitor.
