Five new acoustic guitars have been launched as part of Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson collection, bringing iconic designs to a more accessible price point.
Epiphone is expanding its Inspired by Gibson collection, with the J-45 Standard, L-00 Standard and Hummingbird Standard models, as well as cutaway versions of the J-45 and Hummingbird joining the series. All models will be available in Australia from December 2025 through Australis Music Group.

Despite the cheaper price, these aren’t budget knock-offs. Each guitar has been developed from the ground up by Epiphone, working directly with Gibson Acoustic to capture the heritage and character of the originals while making them more attainable for players.
J-45 Standard
The J-45 Standard delivers the full, balanced expression and warm bass that made the original “The Workhorse” of the acoustic world. It’s built for incredible dynamic range with warm mids and punchy bass that cuts through any mix. The new J-45 is stage-ready with Fishman Presys VT under-saddle pickup and preamp, and comes with a premium gig bag for convenience. Left-handed versions are also available.
For players who need upper-fret access, the J-45 Standard EC adds a cutaway to the proven formula. This model is available in both Vintage Sunburst and Honey Burst finishes, maintaining all the tone and utility of the standard.
Hummingbird Standard
The Hummingbird Standard brings one of the most recognisable acoustic designs ever created into Epiphone’s range. Blending solid woods with vintage styling, gold Epiphone Deluxe tuners, multi-ply binding on the top and back, and a distinctive Kalamazoo-style headstock, the Hummingbird is both a looker and a true player. Like the J-45, it includes Fishman Presys VT electronics for amplified performance.
As well as the Hummingbird Standard, the EC offers the same iconic voice with a cutaway for enhanced playability and is available in both Cherry Sunburst and Natural finishes.
L-00 Standard
Perhaps most exciting is the L-00 Standard, finally delivering an authentic parlour acoustic at an accessible price point. This smaller-bodied guitar captures the heritage of early Gibson models with all-solid tonewoods that only improve with age. L-00’s compact size doesn’t compromise on its features — this model includes Fishman electronics with an S-Core under-saddle pickup and Fishman Presys VT preamp system with soundhole controls that remain nearly invisible to the average eye.
