APRA AMCOS recruits Matt Corby, Alex Lahey + more for regional songwriting workshops

APRA AMCOS’ The Regional Sessions, a songwriting program occurring throughout regional NSW next month, has added a new batch of artist mentors to this year’s lineup.

Alex Lahey, Matt Corby, L-FRESH The LION, Sally Seltmann, Robbie Miller, Urthboy, Ian Haug and members of Hockey Dad and DMA’S have been added to the various panels of the regional New South Wales event. 

The new additions join the likes of Tia Gostelow, Gordi, The Cat Empire’s Harry James Angus, Milan Ring and Nina Las Vegas.

The Regional Sessions is a series of one-day events across regional NSW offering keynote speakers, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities for emerging and mid-career songwriters.

APRA AMCOS and the NSW Government, through Create NSW, have partnered to present a program for NSW songwriters and composers across genres who want to hone their songwriting skills and build their local and international networks.

They will take place in Tamworth on June 7, Byron Bay on June 9, Wagga Wagga on June 11, Dubbo June 15, Wollongong June 17.
