The ‘Hyper’ technology acts as a way to produce more accurate reproductions of top-tier gear, as well as using less processing power because of their use of impulse responses as opposed to actual processing power. The Cherry has four modes available: EQ, EQ Eco, EQ Digital and EQ Digital 2X, and harness the impulse responses differently to either reduce CPU consumption or even add artefacts present on the hardware that Cherry emulates.
The Cherry is transparent but powerful, and according to Acustica, you need to “taste it to believe it.” The Acustica Cherry has multiple GUIs available, precise, defined and robust low-end, as well as band that are adjustable to be as clinical or broad as you need them to be. The Cherry itself is designed to have all the tools available that you might need, without additional, superfluous options to process signal, and its well-laid out GUI reflects this.
The Cherry EQ from Acustica is available now from Acustica.
