Words by Mixdown

Paul van Dyk and the VANDIT Label Group are opening submissions worldwide for VANDIT Next Generation, a mentorship program that gives five emerging electronic music producers direct creative guidance and the chance to land an official release.

If you’ve been sitting on a track and wondering what’s next, sending it over to Paul van Dyk might be your next move. The Berlin-born trance icon and his VANDIT Label Group have launched VANDIT Next Generation, a talent scouting and mentorship initiative aimed at emerging producers working in electronic music. Five producers will be selected for the program, with submissions open now and closing on 15 June 2026.

The submission scope is broader than trance alone. VANDIT Next Generation covers Trance, Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Chill, Downtempo and productions that resist genre tags altogether. Selected producers will receive a one-on-one session with van Dyk himself, hands-on track development feedback and direct insight into refining their sound and artistic identity. Standout tracks will be considered for an official release through the VANDIT Label Group, which spans four imprints: VANDIT Records, VANDIT Alternative, VANTEC and Chateau Bonheur Musique.

Van Dyk describes the program as something more personal than a standard label initiative: “The VANDIT Next Generation program isn’t solely about music; this is my opportunity to support the next generation within the dance music community. The initiative has been designed to nurture creativity, assist aspiring artists in finding their true voice, and guide the next wave of talent to reach their full potential. I’m excited to work with the five chosen producers and help them take the next steps forward in their journey.”

To apply, producers need to submit their strongest original track via a Dropbox or SoundCloud link to [email protected] with the subject line ‘VANDIT Next Generation’, along with a short biography and introduction. Submissions should reflect the highest possible standard relative to the artist’s experience level. The deadline is 15 June 2026.

For producers serious about breaking into the international electronic music scene, direct access to someone with van Dyk’s reach and reputation is a rare thing. Might be worth dusting off that project file.
