Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander APRA AMCOS members can now apply for two intensive programs taking place at 4000 Studios in Brisbane this June, with collaborators including Nicholas Littlemore, Dean Brady and 18YOMan.

APRA AMCOS has opened applications for its 2026 RESONATE programs – two intensive creative development opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songwriters and producers, both taking place at 4000 Studios in Brisbane this winter.

Now in its sixth year, RESONATE has had a hand in significant releases from Indigenous artists, including Tasman Keith’s “IDK” from his ARIA-nominated album A Colour Undone, Tessa Thames’s “Cherry Blossoms In Tokyo” and Jem Cassar-Daley’s “King of Disappointment” – a track she co-wrote at the 2022 program that has since clocked nearly three million streams on Spotify.

Catch up on all the latest news here.

Two programs are on offer this year:

RESONATE runs from 9 – 12 June and is a four-day program aimed at mid-career and established songwriters. Collaborators confirmed include Dean Brady, Djanaba, Emily Wurramara, producer Moss and Ricky Neil Jr, with special guest producers Godriguez and Lucy Blomkamp also on hand in the studio.

RESONATE Producers follows from 15 – 17 June, a three-day professional development program focused on the craft of production and its integration with the creative process. Nicholas Littlemore of Empire of the Sun and PNAU, multi-award winning 18YOMan and indie/folk producer LEN20 are all confirmed as collaborators.

Both programs are open exclusively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of APRA AMCOS. Successful applicants will have travel and accommodation to and from Brisbane covered, along with a daily honorarium. Members can apply for both programs.

“Being a participant in the 2025 RESONATE Producers Program instantly lifted my confidence by levelling up my production skills. It was a great way to meet like-minded producers and artists. This experience has been a huge game changer for me,” says previous RESONATE Producers participant Candice Lorrae.

Applications for RESONATE close Friday 10 April and RESONATE Producers close Friday 24 April.
