A welcome addition as UAD goes native
After their mysterious and completely vague announcement last week regarding the new ‘Spark’ sent murmurs through the audio community, it has now been revealed UAD have introduced native plugins to use in AU, VST3 and AAX formats.
What you need to know:

- UAD Spark will be available with a US$20 per month subscription as users will gain access to 10 plugins and four VSTs.

UAD Spark will be available with a US$20 per month subscription as users will gain access to 10 plugins and four VSTs.
The plugins include:
- Neve 1073 Preamp & EQ Channel Strip
- Teletronix LA-2A Leveller Collection
- API 2500 Bus Compressor
- Galaxy Tape Echo
- API Vision Channel Strip
- Studer A800 Tape Recorder
- UA 1176 Classic Limiter Collection
- Pure Plate Reverb
- API Vision Channel Strip
- Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb
The four VSTs include:
- Waterfall B3 (brand new Hammond recreation)
- Opal (UAD Spark-exclusive synth)
- Minimoog Model D (LUNA-exclusive until now)
- Ravel Grand Piano (LUNA-exclusive until now)
UAD Spark is available now with a free 14-day trial open to all, while owners of UA’s Volt series audio interfaces will be eligible for a month’s free subscription.
Free licences will be available to licence holders of any of the above plugins and VSTs.
