Play-a-Synth has now enabled the ability for hardware synthesizer owners to monetise their instruments.
For our international readers, Play-A-Synth are enabling both monetisation of synths and payments in the SEPA region* and payments in the USA. While they now support monetisation in Europe, our ambition is to expand monetisation to more regions as soon as possible.

Play-a-Synth enables owners of a hardware synth to easily share their instruments online, only an audio and MIDI interface and a connection to the internet is required. The online nature of the Play-a-Synth platform makes it possible to share unique, rare and expensive synthesizers to a large audience while more common synthesizers can be shared from many places, allowing Play-a-Synth users to choose the most convenient synthesizer for them.
For users who wish to try out and play the synthesizers available on Play-a-Synth, they offer plugins and a web browser-based player. Understanding that playing the synthesizers remotely may not always provide the best possible experience, Play-A-Synth offer a 2 minute trial period during each paid synthesizer session to evaluate the audio quality and latency. If you end the session within this window, you will receive an automatic refund.
If you are interested in sharing and monetising your synths on Play-a-Synth, but are currently not located in the SEPA region, you can sign up and let Play-A-Synth know through your profile that you wish to monetise. You are also able to share your synthesizer for free or use Play-a-Synth to remotely access your own synthesizers regardless of your geographic area.
