The new UAD Native plugin delivers a complete virtual guitar recording chain with 11 hand-picked tube amps, classic effects, and over 300 presets.
Universal Audio has launched Paradise Guitar Studio, a comprehensive guitar amp simulation plugin that consolidates an entire professional recording chain into a single interface. Drawing on UA’s acclaimed analog modelling expertise, the software combines vintage tube amplifiers, speaker cabinets, studio microphones, pedals, and classic outboard effects in what UA describe as its most complete end-to-end virtual guitar experience to date.

What you’ll get is a collection of 11 carefully selected tube amplifiers spanning clean, crunch, and boutique. These aren’t just random—UA has curated what they’re calling a “golden unit” collection, capturing the character of modified and vintage amps that would typically cost a fortune, and a professional studio space. From sparkling clean tones to natural overdrive and rare boutique sounds, the amp selection covers considerable ground without overwhelming users with endless options.
The plugin’s cabinet section pairs these amplifiers with expertly mic’d speaker cabinets, so there’s no guesswork of microphone placement and selection. Studio effects round out the signal chain with heavy hitters from UA’s catalogue, including 1176 compression, vintage tape echo, spring and plate reverbs, and EQ. This kind of processing chain would usually require multiple plugins or hardware units, all accessible from a single window.
“We built Paradise to make any guitarist feel like they’re playing in a dream studio,” says James Santiago, Senior Product Designer at Universal Audio. “It’s the most complete ‘end‑to‑end’ virtual experience we’ve ever built, with hand-picked tube amps and essential recording gear, all in a single plug‑in.”
Paradise Guitar Studio ships with over 300 presets covering rock, blues, indie, metal, funk, pop, and more—plenty of starting points to suit most production scenarios. The interface borrows from classic pedalboard layouts, making it immediately familiar to guitarists while maintaining the precision controls producers need. Practical touches include an integrated tuner and input gate, keeping everything you need for tracking within reach.
Paradise Guitar Studio delivers a complete dream recording environment for guitarists, bringing together classic amps, cabinets, mics, pedals, and studio effects in a single UAD Native plug-in.
