John Butler Trio has managed to do what little artists can, bridge the gap between mainstream and alternative music markets, globally selling out performances for the last two years and modelling a course for the next round of upcoming Australian artists.
Birds Of Tokyo continue to create their bittersweet anthems that echo through critics and fans alike. Producing four albums, multi-platinum sales and constantly selling out tours across the nation. Birds Of Tokyo have become one of Australia’s most successful rock bands.
Adding to the mix will be platinum selling hip-hop veteran Illy, whose lyrical work has earned him the label as one of Australia’s most exciting artists. Australia’s chart topping alt-dub-rock outfit Sticky Fingers will be resonating through the festival along with Twin Fires, Sheppard and Bootleg Rascal and resident DJ Stacie Todd, another killer line-up.
Vanfest was created by Grant and Matt Clifton, a father and son team striving to bring quality international entertainment too the regional area. The festival is held at Forbes Showgrounds on Saturday 5 December. Tickets, transport and camping packages are available.
