In celebration of her latest release, Loren will be heading off on a recording trip performing gigs around Nashville before returning to her motherland for a highly anticipated national tour, opening at The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton on October 9, following on through Melbourne, Bunbury, Freemantle, Maldon, Adelaide, Bellingen and winding it up with a big Mullum Music Festival performance in Mullumbimby.
Loren’s opening single ‘When You Leave‘ is a heartfelt tear-jerker that was written in memory of Lorens late partner. Loren generously opens up and invites us in to intimate depths of her life, in which she is able to revisit her pain and loss with effortless beauty and poise, providing us a frame for what is to come with the rest of her album.
Till Night Meets The Sun was written across two years and moves through tales of her childhood, relationship between mother and father and losing her partner. The album is sincerely written and a genuine introduction into an upcoming folk talent. Produced by Glen Hannah (Felicity Urquhart, Chasing Bailey, Kim Cheshire), mixed and mastered by Jeff McCormack (Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson).
