Melbourne for Vanuatu is taking place at The Toff In Town on May 7 with a decidedly soulful flavour. Emceed by comedian Megan Higginbotham, the event will feature an eclectic mix of Australian musical and comedic talent with all proceeds going towards local relief efforts on the North Central island of Epi.
Present on the night will be Kylie Auldist & the Glenroy All Stars, Tripod, The Cactus Channel, Skyscraper Stan, The Sugarcanes, The Sweets and The Ivory Elephant.

Melbourne’s electronic community are also coming together to host Remedy no.5, an event to raise funds for both The Big Umbrella and Learning Planet, two separate organizations that are presently supporting relief efforts in Nepal.
While it isn’t a ticketed event, punters are required to provide a donation upon entry, with $10 being the suggested amount. There will be raffles taking place with all proceeds going to the aforementioned organizations.
Taking stage at Relief no.5 will be JPS (THE OPERATIVES), M I D F L i T E, Winters, Cazeaux O.S.L.O, ABLE8, Ayna, Lotus Moonchild, MzRizk (DJ), Billy Hoyle, No Name Nath, Nam, FLOAT, Prequel, N’fa Jones, A13 (AONETHREE), Amin Payne, Bee Ampersand and Rintrah.
Featuring some of Australia’s most promising electronic artists, this events sure to be a big one.
