The Butterfly Effect have been added to Good Things Festival 2019

The Butterfly Effect, who also released their first new single in over a decade back in August with ‘UnBroken’, will be touring alongside their longtime friends Karnivool and Parkway Drive on all dates of the festival, signalling a triumphant comeback for the local legends.

In a statement accompanying today’s news, lead vocalist Clint Boge expressed the band’s delight at the prospect of being added the lineup, saying that “There is always something so very special about playing a festival – the noise, the crowds, the vibe and the amazing camaraderie that brings people together, ‘Good Things’ for everyone. And there is no other place we’d rather be, than sharing the stage with such an amazing line up – Australia has some of the most dedicated festival fans and we can’t wait to get amongst it.”

The news comes after it was announced that The Damned Things – the hard-rock supergroup comprised of members from Fallout Boy, Anthrax and Every Time I Die – had cancelled their appearance at the festival due to scheduling conflicts. As reported last month, US prog-rockers Coheed and Cambria were also forced to withdraw from the festival after drummer Josh Eppard experienced a health scare which neccesitated taking some time away from touring.
