THE BURNING ROACHES DROP DEBUT EP

press shot 2 - the burning roaches.jpg

Rob Haddow (vocals/guitar), Ace Chapman (bass/vocals) and Dion Kowalczyk (drums) are The Burning Roaches. Based in Melbourne, the trio have released their debut self-titled EP and are set to show their local support what they’ve been working on.

Fuelled by firey riffs, grunge goodness and fuzzy feedback, the release features four tracks, each as dynamic as the next. Drawing on their 90’s nostaglia, the homegrown heroes are headed to the one and only, Old Bar. The EP is said to feature the rough vocals of ‘Feeling Real Good’, the melancholy madness of ‘My Only Prize’, the bold break-downs of ‘Bad Things’ and the contrasting crash of ‘Shivering On Fire’. Recorded and mixed by Chapman himself, the brand new release is a dizzy spell of distortion and daring arrangments.

No stranger to the local stage, The Burning Roaches have already been seen around town at such venues including The Tote, The Old Bar, The Grace Darling, The Brunswick Hotel, The Espy and Public Bar. Presented by Yeahh Nahh, their latest Melbourne show is set to bring punters support acts including Claws & Organs, Woo Who and Ghost Dick.

The Burning Roaches are hitting The Old Bar stage Saturday, April 16. Tickets are $10 on the door and it’s sure to fill up quick. For more information, head here.
