Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2012, Django Django have gone from strength to strength. After selling 100,000 copies of said debut album – which was recorded in a bedroom – the band went on to play Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and released their second album Born Under Saturn this year.
The other support act on the bill is Sydney trio Mansionair, whose debut single ‘Hold Me Down’ slingshotted themselves into fame, with praise from NME, The Guardian and BBC Radio 1 and more than 10 million streams.
These bands will join English rockers Foals for what is set to be a monster couple of shows. Foals are now in the realm of genuine superstardom, with their accolades list as impressive as their live show. Frontman Yannis Philippakis has said that “ it’s going to be fun to get back on stage and obliterate places.”
