Festival Director Glenn Wright declared that the festival was “8 years on and going strong,” which certainly appears to be the case, with the Gala Opening Night set to be a full house.
The festival features high quality acts from all around the world, including Ron Sexsmith, Robert Forster, California Honeydrops, Montaigne and Hauschka. The diversity of the acts on the bill is perhaps what is helping this festival do so well, with something for every musical taste in the 80+ musical, comedy, theatre and street acts.
Another important part of the festival is the Mullum Seed Program, which runs workshops on diversity and sustainability, aiming to teach practical skills that festival goers can take back to their gardens.
