Good For You features songs from Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, Fraser A. Gorman, Ouch My Face, East Brunswick All Girls Choir and The Finks, all recorded over one weekend at Melbourne’s Newmarket Studios.
The release is the latest in a short but respectable line of releases on the label, including Courtney Barnett’s Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit and Fraser A. Gorman’s Slow Gum. Out today digitally, the 12-inch vinyl will drop on Sunday and pre-orders will come signed by the Milk! Records crew.
In March, the bands featured on the compilation will set off on tour, hitting Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and a number of regional centres.
