The tour also visits Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and Etheridge plays at Bluesfest in Byron Bay on the Sunday of the event, giving fans all around the country the chance to see this iconic rocker live.
An Academy and Grammy Award winner, Etheridge comes to Australia off the back of a huge run of American shows and shows in New Zealand.
Since her self-titled debut album in 1988, Etheridge has built her career around her profound lyrics, sung in a raspy voice and high energy performances on stage. She has gone on to release 13 albums, 5 of which have gone Platinum, and won a Grammy in 2007 for her song ‘I Need To Wake Up’ from the film An Inconvenient Truth.
