Good Boy first formed on one fateful barmy Brisbane afternoon when guitarist Tom Linderman began casually exchanging riffs on the couch with his best mate- now singer and bass player Rian King. King paused, put down his beer and picked up his bass to see what’d compliment it. After asking their mutual friend and drummer Stu McKenzie for a second opinion, they crafted their first two singles, ‘Transparency and ‘Waste Days or Ease Your Temper’, and Good Boy was born.
Fresh off the stage of St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Brisbane, Good Boy’s ready to bring it for this month’s national tour. In Melbourne, they’ll be joined by locals The Outdoor Type and LOOBS. In Brissy, for their under 18’s show, they’ll share the stage with Tempura Nights who’ll then back it up again for the over 18’s show with These Guy.
