George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic to join Red Hot Chili Peppers as support for Australian tour

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic will join the instantly sold-out tour when it hits our shores later this month. The support slot adds another chance for P-Funk fans to witness the legendary group’s final Australian tour with George Clinton, in addition to a string of headline shows and a huge set for Bluesfest’s 30th anniversary.

The relationship between the Chili Peppers and Clinton dates back to 1985, where the funk mastermind produced RHCP’s second studio album, Freaky Styley.

Demand for tickets to the Chili Peppers Australian tour was high, and thankfully Live Nation has made some moves to support those who missed out. A final 500 tickets will be released for all Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows, with 200 additional tickets up for grabs in Hobart.

The Perth and Hunter Valley shows will also be offering a final release of general admission tickets.
