Digable Planets set to headline FLOW Festival in Melbourne’s West

Billed as a “single day sonic exchange”, Flow is set to take place at the hallowed grounds of Footscray Community Arts Centre on Saturday December 14. Featuring an impeccable lineup curated by local funky bunch Foreign Brothers, Flow bears a lineup dripping with variety, diversity and inclusivity, and sets an impressive precedent for other local events to follow.

As well as featuring a headline set from alternative hip-hop OGs Digable Planets, who’ll be backed by a live ensemble and have also been locked in to perform a string of sideshows around the country, Flow also boasts rising South African rapper Sho Madjozi. A dynamic blend of hip-hop of Qcom (a form of South African techno – super cool stuff) has seen Sho Madjozi rise to astronomical heights over the span of a year, with recent single ‘John Cena’ recieving a wild reception and copping a nod of approval from none other than Missy Elliot herself.

Flow also includes the likes of local soul empress Kaiit, as well as rapper Baro backed by the Baz Richie Sextet, FlexMami, Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, Tiana Khasi, So.Crates and more. It’s a bumper of a lineup for a local family friendly festival, and we’re seriously keen.
