The American songsmith is returning to Australian shores for the first time since 2012. Williams is a three time Grammy winner and in 2002 was named America’s Best Songwriter by Time Magazine.
Along with her headline shows, Williams will be playing as a special guest for Paul Kelly’s Merri Soul Sessions at A Day On The Green, which Sultan is also playing at.
Since the release of his debut album Homemade Biscuits, Dan Sultan has proved himself to be one of Australia’s most versatile artists, able to hit the soaring heights of a rock and roll song as well as being able to write and perform slower ballads. A testament to his versatility, Sultan will be performing solo in support of Williams.
Sultan’s latest album Blackbird was a roaring success, debuting at number four on the ARIA chart and being certified as a Gold-selling release. It also picked up a swag of accolades including the ARIA award for Best Rock Album and Best Blues and Roots Album at the Air awards.
