In fact, this is the earliest that Bluesfest has ever made their first line-up announcement.

Today, those over at the helm of Australia’s biggest music festival have announced the first instalment that The National, City and Colour, Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Car Empire and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue will all be performing at the 2016 event.

Bluesfest, which is now in it’s 27th year of operation, is one of Australia’s oldest and most celebrated festivals, playing host to some of the world’s most revered musicians year after year.

This is only the first of many line up announcements, but so far everything is pointing to another stellar year for Australia’s greatest music festival!
