Lunch Without Borders is set to go down between 11.30am to 1.30pm EST on Wednesday, and will comprise of eight 15 minute sets from a range of heavyweight international artists, including Julien Baker, Asgeir, Of Monsters And Men frontwoman Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir, Overcoats and Shura. They’re also set to be joined by three locals, including Katie Dey, George Alice and Gordi herself, making for one mega two hour bill.
All funds raised throughout the course of Lunch Without Borders is set to be donated to Australian music industry charity Support Act, with both local and international fans encouraged to donate over the course of the event. It’s an incredibly generous gesture from both Gordi and the musicians involved in the Isol-Aid spin-off, and really does help to affirm that to some degree, we’re all in this together.
