Solid State Logic is heading to NAB 2026 with major upgrades to its virtualised System T platform, including a new compact DSP package, NDI and Dante connectivity, flexible licensing and a preview of the upcoming TCA Flypack Tour bundle.
The shift toward software-based audio processing in broadcast is well underway, and Solid State Logic is arriving at NAB 2026 with a clear statement of intent. On show at booth C6907 will be a substantially expanded virtualised System T platform, with a range of updates that make the system more scalable, more accessible and more portable than ever before.

Central to the update is the VTE1 Virtual Tempest Engine, which can now run multiple software-based audio processing engines from a single on-prem hardware server. That flexibility means broadcasters can handle all production processing in one place, without the cost of dedicated hardware from multiple manufacturers. The VTE1 supports up to 256 processing paths across stereo, 5.1 and immersive formats up to 9.1.6, and works across public and private cloud as well as directly on a COTS server.
A new, smaller 140-path DSP package is also being introduced for systems that don’t need the full 256 paths but still demand broadcast-grade processing. Short-term, flexible licensing options come alongside it, making System T more accessible for organisations running temporary or one-off productions.
System T Cloud now supports simultaneous NDI and Dante integration natively, with NDI sources routable directly from the user interface in a single action. All virtual System T DSP engines are compatible with any existing System T control surface, from a TCA with a fader tile up to a full S500 large-format surface.
New for NAB is the TCA Flypack Tour package – a compact, portable System T system designed for broadcast, touring and live production. It features 16 faders, integrated Fader Tile Plus, onboard I/O with headphone monitoring and ruggedised connections, and packs into lightweight flight cases for easy transport.
Rounding out the showcase is a preview of System T V4.3 software, adding SolidPitch automatic tuning, permanent path links, additional send buses and support for up to 500 scenes per show file.
