Soulection and Sennheiser partner for the music collective’s 15th anniversary year

The Los Angeles-based music collective marks 15 years with a year-long Sennheiser partnership featuring events in Miami, London, and LA.

Soulection just turned 15, and they’re celebrating with some serious backup from Sennheiser.

The music collective marked its official birthday on 24 January with a 15-hour takeover of Miami’s iconic Club Space, and announced a year-long partnership with audio company Sennheiser that will see the two brands collaborate throughout 2026 and beyond.

Founded by global DJ and entrepreneur Joe Kay in 2011, Soulection has evolved from a passion project into a globally recognised music collective, record label, radio platform, and creative community. Based in Los Angeles, the collective has built a deeply loyal audience among next-gen DJs, producers, creators, and tastemakers across the US, UK, and Europe, who tune in to the weekly two-hour Soulection Radio show on Apple Music 1.

The partnership makes sense, as Soulection has spent 15 years shaping music discovery and artist development, and Sennheiser has spent more than 80 years building professional audio tools that define how music is recorded, performed, and experienced.

“For me, Soulection and Sennheiser are a perfect fit,” says Itamar Marom, brand partnerships manager at Sennheiser. “Soulection has played a defining role in the curation of music, artist discovery, and shaping the future of music culture, while Sennheiser has spent more than 80 years enabling artists and engineers with professional audio tools. We are very much looking forward to celebrating the 2026 anniversary year with the collective, supporting events along the way.”

For Joe Kay, the partnership feels like a natural extension of his relationship with the brand. “Over the years, Sennheiser has been my go-to headphones,” he explains. “Whether I am playing live, recording Soulection Radio, or digging for new music, their headphones have always been how I connect to the sound. The clarity, the detail, the trust I have in what I am hearing—that is everything to me as a DJ and curator.”

Kay sees the partnership as more than just a commercial arrangement. “So partnering with Sennheiser as Soulection celebrates 15 years is not a coincidence. It is alignment.
