Marking the fifth instalment in the colourful collection.

Capping off the project with a bang, QSC Australia have debuted the latest entry into their acclaimed More Than A Black Box project, teaming up with French artist Lucy Lucy for one of their most vibrant offerings to date.

Lucy Lucy, who is based in Melbourne, has previously worked alongside the likes of the National Gallery of Victoria, Strawberry Fields and Rainbow Serpent, and is an active member of acclaimed art collective AWOL Crew.

Her collaboration with QSC Australia – a vibrant graphic painted with acrylic onto a set of K10.2 speakers – features clean lines and a palate of bold colours, making for another eye-catching addition to the More Than A Black Box campaign.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been able to jam out creatively and it was refreshing to have such freedom to play around,” Lucy Lucy said of the project in a statement. “I wanted to paint something loud just like the speakers, so I went with bright and bold colours with lots of flow.”

“Lucy is well known for her beautifully detailed and powerful murals. To have her involved in this series was so wonderful,” QSC Australia Marketing Manager Nicholas Simonsen added.

“The only brief that the artists have been given is to make the speakers as vibrant as they sound. It goes without saying that Lucy absolutely nailed this concept.”

Lucy Lucy’s contribution to the More Than A Black Box campaign round out the first series of the ambitious creative project, which launched back in March of 2020. Each entry into the series will make their way to retailers around the country over the next month, with more news on the locations of each speaker set to be revealed by QSC in coming weeks.
