PRS Guitars has announced a fresh batch of SE models alongside a combo version of David Grissom's DGT 15 amplifier, giving players more accessible entry points into the brand's signature quality.
PRS Guitars has been crafting high-quality instruments in Stevensville, Maryland, since 1985, with artists like Carlos Santana, John Mayer, and Mark Tremonti among those who’ve trusted the brand. Their SE Series brings that same build quality to a more accessible price point, and the latest additions prove they’re not slowing down.

SE Chleo
Leading the charge is the SE Chleo, Herman Li’s signature model, making the jump from limited edition to the SE line. DragonForce’s famously fast guitarist worked closely with PRS to create a metal-focused instrument loaded with Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce pickups. The switching system offers up to 13 distinct tone combinations – overkill for some, but perfect for players who refuse to be boxed into one sound. Available in Charcoal Purple Burst, Orchid Dusk, and a new Mantis Burst finish.
SE DGT Standard
For those chasing warmth and midrange punch, the SE DGT Standard strips things back to an all-mahogany platform. It’s a slightly more affordable take on Grissom’s signature model that trades some clarity for organic growl, while keeping the versatile control layout and coil-tap functionality intact.
SE CE 24 Standard Satin Stoptail
The SE CE 24 Standard Satin now gets a stoptail option, joining its tremolo counterpart as one of the most accessible guitars in PRS’s catalogue. The bolt-on construction meets all-mahogany body for focused tone, while 85/15 “S” pickups with coil-tapping deliver impressive versatility – from classic humbucking growl to snappy single-coil sparkle.
SE Hollowbody updates
PRS has also refined the construction of their SE Hollowbody models, switching to a solid mahogany centre section rather than bent sides. The result is a body shape that’s “fully PRS” across the range, with Vintage Sunburst now joining the colour options for the SE Hollowbody II Piezo.
DGT 15 Combo Amp
Rounding out the announcement, the DGT 15 is now available as a combo. Grissom’s 15-watt signature amp gets tweaked circuitry and careful cabinet design for tighter low end and a more open tone than the head/cab version—all in a portable 1×12 format.
