The ARQ AR-48 incorporates two distinct sections in its operations: the Base Station and the Ring Controller. The Base Station is divided into four parts (Sound, Sequence, Rec/Play, and Effect) and contains a library of 460 sounds, 16 effects, three sub-oscillators, and a digital synthesiser. A sample player is also included to enable users to load sounds directly from an SD card.
The Ring Controller controls music through movement thanks to a three-axis motion sensor. Users are also provided with the option of removing Ring Controller from the Base Station with a Bluetooth accessory.
Zoom’s ARQ AR-48 also includes ¼ line outputs, 3.5mm inputs and outputs, a MIDI output, and USB connectivity.
