Designed as a two-in-one boost, the Emissary offers users an easy way to give their tone what Walrus is calling a “sinus clearing experience.” It features two independent channels as a nod to its namesake – the emissary veins that connect outside the cranium to the inside – and allows each channel to be used separately or as a combination to enhance tone.
Controls offer clean, high headroom with the “bright” boost circuit and a targeted boost at either 1 kHz or 800Hz with the “mid” boost knob. The pedal’s aesthetic design also mirrors its name, showing an x-ray view of a human head and the veins connected to the sinuses.
