The new iterations of the St. Vincent models now feature two different pickup configurations, one being the new EBMM custom-designed dual humbucking pickups and the other a set of triple DiMarzio mini-humbuckers. Both setups come with a five-way selector switch for a variety of different routing options. Another new feature is that all models now come standard with a premium roasted maple neck, with options for rosewood, ebony or maple fretboards with St. Vincent’s custom fret inlays.
In celebration of the new release, Music Man put together a short film entitled Disruption By Design featuring all-new footage from St. Vincent’s home studio and her pre-Coachella rehearsal sessions to give a glimpse into the new guitar that she used to build her latest album, Masseduction, as well as the process behind designing the new visuals for the latest shows. The guitar is available in Vincent Blue (colour-mixed by St. Vincent herself), Tobacco Sunburst, Polaris White and Stealth Black, alongside the new Sea Breeze, Charcoal Sparkle and Blue Dawn colours for the 2018 release.
