A wearable Novation Launchpad might be the nearest thing to a description of the du-touch, but that would sell short the possibilities that this thing might have.
With 116 pressure sensitive pads, three touchable sliders, three touchable buttons and a three-axis gyro movement sensor the instrument is unique and new.
The instrument has 116 editable sounds with four presets each on board, as well as an intuitive multi-track looper operated by a simple button on the front of the device. It can also be used as a midi controller to plug into your DAW and create.
Dualo are set to show the instrument off at NAMM 2016 next week for the punters to see, and will hope to add to the ever growing community around the du-touch.
The du-touch is available to be purchased now, but will set you back a hefty €825, a touch under $1300 AUD. It may be worth the investment though, with constant updates available to be downloaded as the developers fine tune and improve the product.
