The Legacy Drive Preamp aims to reproduce the tone of Vai’s Carvin Legacy amp series by including the 12AX7 Tubes that are featured in the amplifiers. The full Legacy preamp circuit is utilised, with four gain stages and tone stacks incorporated, exactly as they are in the Legacy 100-watt amps.
