Stemming from the design of the company’s beloved Metal model, the Sarah Longfield Edition offers a chambered basswood body with a pristine maple top, as well as the deluxe combination of a roasted maple neck with an ebony fretboard. It’s fitted out with next-level Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, which provide a punchy character perfect for a range of musical stylings.
The multi-scale Metal signature models, which are available in six, seven and eight string configurations, come decorated with a ‘Black Doppler’ finish, based on the spontaneous splatters on Longfield’s original model. It makes for a pretty stunning instrument overall, and we can definitely see these models being popular within certain heavy circles.
