Spiral Electric FX release Yellow Spiral Drive

Spearheaded by Tom Cram, who enjoyed previous success designing the likes of the Rubberneck and FreqOut for Digitech and DOD during his tenure with them, Spiral Electric FX is a venture dedicated to designing deluxe pedals for tone hounds around the globe: and it’s in this department that the Yellow Spiral Drive delivers the most.

Described by Spiral as the “Swiss Army Knife of overdrive pedals,” the Yellow Spiral Drive features 100% analogue circuitry and components, and is based on the specs of DOD’s highly desired 250 Overdrive Preamp pedal. Whether you’re chasing a simple boost function, a bit of natural grit or high-gain filth to cut through the mix, the Yellow Spiral Drive looks to cover all these bases, with selectable clipping sections included to offer further control over the response of the overdrive circuit.

If you’re seeking an incredibly touch-sensitive, articulate drive to complement the dynamics and nuances of your playing style, the Yellow Spiral Drive has got your name written all over it. It’s also got a super cool industrial chemical oxide top, true bypass functionality and a unique ‘girth’ control for rotary tone control.
