Solid State Logic launch new SiX desktop mixer

The SSL SiX mixer is designed for complete tonal flexibility, combining a conventional recording interface and mixer with a built-in single knob version of SSL’s Channel Compressor, as well as two-band channel EQ, inserts and 100mm faders.

Solid State Logic describe the mixer to be best suited for use “in the studio, in post-production, on stage, and for podcasting”, setting up SiX as the artist’s ultimate play tool.

For the tech-heads, the SiX has features that include two mono channels with SSL SuperAnalogueâ„¢ Mic’ Pre’s that boast 66dB of gain, two stereo input channels with -10/+20 dB trim for line sources such as synthesisers and drum machines, plus balance controls and dedicated faders as well as many more, all within a compact and balanced SSL frame.

The SiX definitely looks like it’ll live up to SSL’s claim that it’s the ‘ultimate desktop mixer’ – seriously, what more could you want from a package this size? Check out all the specs here.
