Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Private Stock, PRS has unveiled the Gold 24-fret McCarty Singlecut Trem as their guitar of the month for September. Stock is incredbly limited, with only 20 copies being made – so it won’t come cheap.
The guitar is based on the one-off they built for Carlos Santana and it features 25-30 pieces of 23k Gold Leaf per curly maple top, 24.5” scale length neck with 24 frets and a PRS vibrato and 58/15 treble pickup.
The guitar also has an African ribbon mahogany back, a Madagascan rosewood fingerboard and a gold Private Stock eagle with an engraved ‘September’ banner brandished across the headstock.
